We are creating a Community Gear Library that will rotate through the Maranacook area and allow for the free borrowing of outdoor equipment.
The cost of equipment is a significant barrier for families trying to get outside and enjoy local recreational opportunities, especially with growing kids. The gear library will provide access to equipment such as bikes, snowshoes, ice skates, skis, etc.
We plan to have the gear library ready for use by 2025. First, we need to raise money to buy a trailer to store and organize equipment.
